Melissa McCarthy, General Manager North America
Melissa is a graduate of the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point with a degree in Engineering Management. She served six years in the US Army as a Communications Officer. After leaving the military, Melissa has focused on using her leadership experience and skills to develop new technologies in the interest of national security primarily in the aviation field.
Gregory Erdmann, Sales Director, Wind Turbine Solutions
Greg is a graduate of the University of Vermont where he studied Economics and International Marketing. For over 23 years he has led sales and marketing management programs in several companies in the Wind Energy, IT, and 3D Visualization markets. His previous position was Global Sales Manager for a leading wind energy company managing an international sales team supplying wind sensor solutions to wind developers and wind turbine manufacturers.
Glenn Ferguson, Sales Director, Utility Solutions
Glenn is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute with a degree in Economics. He brings over 22 years of sales and marketing management experience with two major manufacturers in the Electrical Transmission and Distribution market. He previously served as the North American Marketing Manager for one of the world's largest electrical manufacturers supplying equipment integral to all electrical systems.
Josh Arthur, Operations Manager North America
Josh is a graduate of Columbia University and comes to OCAS after four years service as an Armor Officer in the United States Army. His experience includes time as a rifle platoon leader, heavy mortar platoon leader, and in various staff positions leading teams of 5 to 40 soldiers. For 15 months, he served as a mortar platoon leader in Baghdad, Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He graduated on the Commandant's List from the Armor Officer Basic Course and was co-Honor Graduate of his Infantry Mortar Leader Course class.

Shahzad Abid, CEO
Shahzad became the CEO of OCAS AS on September 1st, 2010. He brings with him 15 years of experience and high performance in business leadership roles in international high-tech companies. Previous positions include Marketing Director for Nokia Networks and Nokia Siemens Networks Middle East & Africa, Account Director in Nokia Networks Norway, and Vice President Sales & Marketing in Telenor Conax, all positions associated with international business expansion & ramp up. His career started in a subsidiary of LCC International, a U.S. multinational, as sales representative for customers in Asia Pacific. Shahzad holds a MSc in International Marketing & Strategy from the Norwegian School of Management.
Morten Mork, Co-Founder
Morten spent 10 years as a Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) Pilot where he was also a Distinguished Graduate of the United States Navy Pilot Training Program. He logged over 2000 flight hours before beginning his civilian career as a ship broker. Morten left his partnership in the brokerage to begin OCAS AS with Rolf Bakken in 1999.
Rolf Bakken, Co-Founder, Chief Test Pilot & Program Manager
Mr. Bakken is a distinguished pilot, having spent 13 years with the Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF). He is a graduate of the RNoAF War Academy and Staff College and a Distinguished Graduate of the United States Air Force Test Pilot School. Retiring as a Major in 1997, Rolf's experience includes Fighter Pilot, Experimental Test Pilot, and Program Manager Including: F-5 Weapons Testing at Eglin AFB and F-16 Mid-life Update Program at Edwards AFB. Prior to joining OCAS on a full-time basis in 2005, he served Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) as a Test Pilot, Fleet Technical Pilot and Fleet Chief Pilot. His flying carrier encompasses 5000 hours, including 1000 in the F-16, 1500 in the F-5 and 2500 spread across 70 other types, including helicopters.
