History
provided by: OCAS, Inc
Since our inception in 1999, our objective has been to set a new standard for obstruction marking by developing and delivering to the market an obstacle warning system which provides both visual and audible alarms to aviators while protecting ground based structures.
OCAS board members have invested over $50 million in the research and development of the OCAS system and the success the OCAS system has achieved would not have been possible without the considerable efforts and cooperation of the Civil Aviation Administration (CAA Norway), the Royal Norwegian Air Force, Statnett SF (Norway's leading electric utility) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in conjunction with our founders.
